STEP 5 - MONARCH MIGRATION- ( Do as a troupe ) *EARN MONARCH BADGE
-Make Monarch cards & send them to the GS troupe in Mexico:
- Catch, tag, and release a Monarch.

STEP 6- FOLLOW THROUGH- PLANT BUTTERFLY GARDEN
When the milkweed seedlings are about 5-6 inches tall they are ready to plant.
The troupe may choose to create their butterfly garden at school, on library or church grounds, or at a senior center.
Make sure it is at a location that does not use pesticides, and is a location with a
water source. Pick a spot where people can enjoy watching the butterflies.
Add a bench to sit on! Or make & bring a 'sit-upon' to view the Monarchs.
